About Us

We're a family of 4: 2 humans, a dog and a cat who quit our day-to-day and decided to run away in an RV to travel the country. We live in a 1991 Itasca Spirit, which is a 21-foot C Class motorhome. Andreas

Andreas has a Masters in Applied Physics and spent the last 5 years working as a sensor scientist and embedded engineer. He is quick to spot scientific monitoring equipment in the parks. You can contact him directly at andreas@quackpackrv.com

Kathleen

Kathleen finished her Masters in Public Health the Spring before we took off on our trip. With an undergraduate degree in Biology she spends a lot of time staring at the plants and animals on hikes. You can contact her directly at kathleen@quackpackrv.com

Aiden

Aiden is a seven year old German Shepard. She joined the pack at the age of five. She previously lived at the Cascade Raptor Center in Eugene, OR but had a bit too much energy for that life. She has been enjoying hiking and dog parks ever since. She loves to be around her humans 100% of the time and enjoys the days we stop and hike the most.

Declan

The smallest member of the pack, Declan is Aiden's two year old cat. He was born on a farm in Eastern Washington and joined the pack as a kitten. He is still getting used to the noises the RV makes when moving but loves that the scenery changes outside his window. He was an indoor apartment cat in Seattle, but he has always loved to get outside on his leash.
